Okay now hitting another obsession I mentioned earlier: Smallpools.
Recommended: Over and Over
It was a company event
With a margarita tent
I said ‘How’s your week?’
She said ‘Man, I’m spent,
And I could use a crazy night,
And I would love to see Chennai,
We could commandeer a little plane and fly,
Or we could just skip stones in the shade,’
I wanna call you mine
And never let you down
I wanna feel it’s right over and over
I wanna get inside
And take it up and down
I wanna live this night over and over.
They only have four songs right now but they have a habit of covering a gem from the Police live. They just finished up a tour with WALK THE MOON and now they’re hitting the road with Twenty One Pilots so once again, calling my East Coast music soul-mates, here are their tour dates:
Get down to party town, you won’t be sorry.
I have zero rap talent. Unless you hit me with T-pain’s Show U How, then I got .01% rap talent. But if YOU do, then you should probably do this because CHVRCHES rocks my world and I want to hear what you rap genii come up with.
Spread the love and let me know if you enter!
My infatuation with Twenty One Pilots won’t quit.
The b+w's are from SXSW 2012, and the other two are from their show at the Bluebird theatre in Denver this month.
New recommendation? Guns for Hands - most emo party jam ever. Seriously though, these guys put on a show you wouldn’t believe. They’re touring with Smallpools (another obsession) and if you’re on the East Coast I’m begging you to hit one of their shows in this Seattle girl’s place!

Honestly, I got a job doing social media for a music company and just kind of lost track of it! I just put up a new post and I’m going to try to get back into it :) thanks for the message!
Just play it.. seriously.
"The sun is shining down for lovers,
But not for me, it shines for others,
You gave me love babe, gave me love babe, now it’s over.
I’m feelin’ blue ‘cause love is gone,
Guess I lose, but life goes on.
Got a few tears to dry,
Before these blue shade days are gone,
And I can stare into the sun.”
I know normally I just hand off a song or music video with some lyrics and send you on your way but these guys are different. Frontman Jamie Scott (@JamieScottG6) is so hot it’s almost distracting in this video, but his voice adds so much soul to their indie-rock/electronica vibe. And what really gets me is that in their song “Annie You Save Me,” he actually kind of sounds like a cross between Ben Gibbard (@Gibbstack) of @DCFC and Chris Martin of @Coldplay. Maybe a little Mark Foster (@FosterThePeople) too, come to think of it. Anyway, they released their EP, “Free” yesterday so find them anywhere and everywhere you can because this shit is incredible!
